These pictures from Adam Pope, his father was a cameraman on a BBC project to film
Scott's son on the ice. Since the father is dead, no info is available, so please
let me know if you can tell me more about what these are where I have question marks??

you put a cover over it or something during the winter to keep heat in and snow out?
